Annualized Salary Range: $114,400 – $193,600, depending on type and experience.

Position Description: OverKey® is a patent-pending distributed multicast VPN that we built to radically simplify the deployment of end-to-end encryption in zero-trust environments. Initially developed for the Marine Corps, we are currently optimizing and cyber-hardening OverKey for several DoD customers. We seek a Product Director with the vision to help us transition OverKey for use across multiple commercial applications, including cloud infrastructure and the Industrial Internet of Things. Caliola’s Product Directors have external and internal responsibilities. They work with our customers to understand market needs and funding opportunities. They work with the user community and Caliola’s Chief Scientist to define the vision for the product line. They also work with the development team, managing and prioritizing their workflow. 

We are looking for teammates that share a passion for the creative application and development of wireless technologies to bring information more securely and promptly to warfighters and first responders. 

Position Responsibilities: 

• Work with potential commercial and industrial customers to set the vision for our OverKey product line. 

• Develop go-to market strategies, pricing approaches, and revenue projections for multiple applications. 

• Identify beachhead market and secure a commercial or industrial OverKey trial in 2022. 

• Participate in relevant trade shows and industry days to anticipate customer strategies and objectives. 

• Participate in technology accelerators aimed at commercializing DoD-sponsored innovation. 

• Manage and prioritize the work of the OverKey Product Team to meet customer requirements. 

• Travel required to facilitate strong customer engagement. 

Position Competencies: 

• Knowledge of conducting and directing competitive product analysis using market research techniques. 

• Understanding of existing Virtual Private Network technology and its limitations. 

• Solid technical understanding of the requirements for at least one potential non-DoD OverKey market.  

• Strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communications and relationship-building skills.

Required Qualifications: 

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 10+ years relevant experience. 

• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. Government. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens. In addition, applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to government security investigation(s) and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or comparable certification.  

• MBA or equivalent experience.
